5 Things you can Learn from your Child
Children have a way of their own. We have the responsibility of teaching them new things but there’s so much we can learn from them. Children grow on us and teach us the values of life in their own innocent way. Here’s what you can learn from your child today!
Learn to feel AMAZED!
Have you ever noticed the look of amazement on your child’s face when she looks up to the rain drops or at the water bubbles being formed when she is enjoying her bath? If you can learn to look at the world from your child’s eyes, the world will turn out to be a beautiful, magical and wonderful place. Everything is always exciting to children. That’s what keeps them happy and carefree.
Curiosity does NOT KILL!
Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to ask questions. A child can ask questions about anything to anyone without being afraid of the responses. Being curious will not make you look dumb or inane. Asking questions may lead you to great opportunities or discoveries.
Be Creative
Give your child a broken plate or a discarded box and she will make something out of it or put it to some other use. A child is never afraid of trying out new things or doing things differently. Rejuvenate your life.
Dance to the Tune of Life
Children wake up with a smile and jump out of bed. It doesn't take long for them to skip into happy dances and enjoy themselves. When a little child is having fun, she knows nothing else. Learn to appreciate each day and live in the present.
Learn to let go…
Children fight like cats and dogs and also vow not to play with certain friends when they are angry. But, within a short span of time, they wash their hearts off the anger and anguish, start afresh and go back to being best friends again. This is the most important lesson we can learn from them, the art of letting go.
