Potato Recipes
Be it a festive feast or a quick weeknight dinner, the humble potato comes to our rescue every single time. Put it in a curry, bake it, or fry it. Every way you can cook a potato is the right way. These spuds are loved all over the globe and make everything so much more exciting. Potatoes by themselves are fat free, gluten free, suitable for a multitude of special diets, and are also rich in potassium and fibre. Revered by the Canadians in Poutine, the Swiss in a Rosti, Italians as Gnocchi, by Indians in Samosas, this starchy tuber stands out in every culture of the world.
Indigenous to South America, potatoes spread across the globe some time in the 16th century, and now grow in over 5000 different varieties! Despite not being native to India, they are now a staple in the nation’s daily diet, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
