Lunch Recipes
Lunch is a meal eaten around midday and Lunch is commonly the second meal of the day, after breakfast. The meal varies in size depending on the culture and significant variations exist in different areas of the world. The lunch prepared at home and carried to be eaten somewhere else such as school, a workplace or at an outing. People like different types of recipe for lunch like some health conscious people prefer salads and south Indian dishes. In generaI, people generally prefer to have vegetable, chappati, curd and salad for lunch. It is important to keep offering healthy lunch box choices in a variety of ways, as children learn to eat what is familiar to them. While a whole – lot of people also like to have additional dishes for snacking with their lunch. However, snacking is not bad if we stick to healthy options. As long as we eat a well-balanced nutritious diet and regular meals, the odd snack is not a problem. In lunch recipes we try all kinds of food like heavy, nutritious etc. because we can digest our midday meal easily. The lunch hours of the day are when our metabolism is at its peak, your lunch should be the ideal balance of protein, fiber, sugar and fat. Some basic dishes you could try are healthy chickpea and corn salad or a big bowl of soup and chicken. A good lunch box should have green vegetables and fruits which provides lots of valuable vitamins and minerals and the same is recommended by doctors too.
