In my past years of corporate life, I’ve well-learned that change is inevitable and so, it affects our definition of being successful in minscule or large forms. I realized the sooner I learned to accept changes, the earlier I got happier and productive at work.
Most of what we strive to achieve is paradoxical. In the end, after we have exhausted ourselves multi-tasking to become “successful”, we realize it wasn’t probably worth all we lose in getting there-family, friends, time to self, doing something we are passionate about etc.
So, become self-aware of the elements that are paradoxes in one’s definition of success, pursue goals that, in first instance make one happy. Once you attain the stage of being happy or contented, success will come to you on its own, for you would have learned to define what success means to you!
