Traditionally, the lady of the house has been the backbone of Indian homes, running the show from the shadows – providing an enabling environment for others, and even saving for the rainy day. However, as our society evolves, the modern woman is coming to the fore. She is being burdened with greater responsibilities and is now often an equal or more breadwinner. The modern woman is underserved and often mis-served with regard to her personal financial needs.

Objective of this program is to help women and their families fulfill their financial aspirations. In these session we share simple how-to guidance on various aspects of personal finance.

About the facilitator:

Ritu is the founder member of Aspire Personal Financial Solutions, established with the express purpose of helping individuals meet their financial aspirations. In her association with banks and financial services she saw that while most were catering to the high net worth individuals, the large chunk of the populace was often ignored. Aspire Personal Financial Solutions focuses on this largely unrepresented section to
offer advice and education towards personal finance.

She is passionate about improving financial awareness among women in particular and with this intent has started her journey to reach out to individuals and group of women to talk and explain importance and concepts about personal finance.

Ritu has been a speaker at many foums and connects seamlessly with participants of different age groups.

Professional Experience: Ritu has worked in the space of personal finance and retail banking across companies like Citifinacials, ABN AMRO Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Educational Qualification: Ritu has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and a Masters in Finance and Control from Department of Financial Studies, Delhi University. She currently lives in Gurgaon with her husband and daughter.
