Growing My Roots: A Self-care Workshop
When we think of compassion, often we imagine that it is to do only with how we connect with others. Compassion is indeed a mode of being in the world - both outwardly and within. Extending compassion to ourselves helps us to deepen our capacities for presence, connection, kindness and empathy.
Join us on Sunday, November 26th, in Defence Colony for "Growing My Roots: A Self-care Workshop" -- a day-long intensive self-care, based on principles of mindful self-compassion and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), facilitated by Manasi Saxena.
Some objectives of this workshop are:
- To create a safe space for exploration
- To deepen capacities for self-awareness and courageous presence to whatever is alive and real in each moment
- To explore inroads to our inner worlds
- To share and practice doable strategies for self-care
