ISDM has been set up with the vision of developing professional leadership and management talent for the social development sector - Individuals who understand what development means and can build world class social organizations with the appropriate strategy, structures, systems, processes and culture to deliver good quality, sustainable social impact at scale.

A great body of people and eminent practitioners from the development sector have come together to form this Institute with the vision of developing the discipline and ecosystem for Development Management in India.

About the Program

The One-year Post Graduate Programme in Development Leadership (PGP-DL) is a course for bright, young individuals who are passionate about working in the social sector and would like to build careers in Development Management. The PGP-DL helps you to build perspectives, knowledge and skills, unique to the development sector. On completion of this programme, students would work in Indian and International NGOs, Foundations, Aid Agencies, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Enterprises or become Social Entrepreneurs.

• The Field term includes 2 weeks of structured filed immersion in a district in India & 8 weeks of residency with a partner organization to work on some real-life problems

Eligibility:

• Minimum graduation from a recognized college/University. Post graduates, considering further education, are also welcome to apply.
• People with work experience are also encouraged to apply. We have 80% applicants with previous work experience from both development sector and corporate space.

Admissions:

• Admissions are currently going on for the first batch of students, which begins on 24th July 2017.
• There is a 3-step selection process, involving a telephonic interview, a written test and a personal interview.

Fees:

The tuition fees for the 1 year programme is Rs 4, 00, 000. (Rupees Four Lakhs).

The course is fully funded for entire first cohort. All students will be provided 100% scholarship for their tuition.

There could be additional need based financial grant for accommodation and living expenses.
