Pamban Bridge

Pamban Bridge is an engineering prodigy that evokes nothing but awe! Pamban Bridge is the 2nd largest sea bridge in India that spans a distance of 2 kilometers and has 143 piers. Earlier, the bridge was used for transporting pilgrims to the temple on Rameswaram Island. Visit the strait to have a stunning and short trip over the beautiful sea in Tamil Nadu.14.8 kilometers from the main bus stand at Rameswaram, you can reach this bridge through private vehicles and government buses. Auto rickshaws and taxis are also available conveyances stopping at the bridge. Wondering what’s up for you there? You get the view of the Rameswaram Island from the bridge along with the view of the nearby islands and the Kunthukal Vivekananda memorial. Dry fishes are something that you will find within affordable range once you cross the bridge. You also get the scope of spending some quality time with friends and family at the Children’s Park located on Mandapam Shore. This shore lies at the farther end of the bridge.
