Majnu ka tilla is a colony in Delhi. It is also called chop chop square of India and establish around in 1950. It is located at the bank of Yamuna river(Nh-1) near ISBT kashmiri gate. It is basically a tourist place with the Tibetan refugee colony and you are one rickshaw ride away if you are in DU north campus.
Picture this: you are roaming around the streets of the market, you see Tibetan ladies in their traditional attire selling their products, there’s cool breeze hitting your face and you smell the aroma of some tasty food. The sound of prayer bells you can hear, vibrant colours, limitless food, and the smell of hot steaming momos.
It’s more like a full Tibet market where you can get their cuisines like shabalay, thentuk, tingmo, shapta are some of their varieties. Even you can purchase attire like Tibetan ladies wear.
If you want to go there take a metro of yellow line to vidhan sabha, and take a rickshaw from there you will get there easily.
Do not come without eating the food they offer. This market is a complete package of excitement and adventure you can have with your family and friends. Do try it once to visit this place.
