My experience with wipro technologies being a fresh graduate from university is good. But for women with young kids (in particular for a single parent) I feel not a too good choice to opt for .
the special care is taken from management If we need to stay back in night hours and the security for women employees is always given priority .The work culture is good and women's are given equal chance based on performance .
For mother ,I rate work at wipro with 2.
Because employees in wipro has to maintain minimum of 8 work hours(time laps between first swipe in and lasts swipeout )an average in a week which I feel not effective if we are on bench .
And no daycare facility for kids and less chance of work from home is given to employee which are always a high priority for a mother at work .
Though these work conditions may vary as per the project and the manager whom we report .
These are my inputs based on my experience at wipro till the year of 2009 .Iam not aware of new policy initiatives in these years. I Suggest to talk to HR on the facilities we get for women before we sign in .
Hope my inputs will help her in her decision making .']
