I worked there for almost 2 years, it was a good experience. Due to merger, cream crowd has already moved on and the ones left are vintage employees. So not sure if merger happens who gets the preference to stay - new or vintage. And possibility of lay offs after merger is high and right now it's a tough business market.
Overall it depends which city to get hired in as city to city centres work differently. The usual company policies are employee friendly but than it's people who make the brand
Vodafone is really a good place to work as an HR Professional.
Its very much employee centric and very much women friendly as well.
Best part is you have flexible working hours, and remote working facilities as well (with most of the roles), which really helps to maintain good balance between personal and professional life and responsibilities.
It involved a lot of targets to be achieved , continuous customer interaction as we were front office, basically a full time job. As for the ambience and work environment it was superb..
Pros is that you definitely learn a lot and your hardwork can escalate your posts.
