They are somewhat women friendly.
2) pros- good campus, good ratio of women to men in the workplace, good peer to peer interaction, safe workplace
Cons- gender neutrality is absent in most cases (male employee given preference), being an IT firm long work hours are expected, lesser salary package than the industry average
Pros: great environment, helpful colleagues, Great office timings
Cons: Work pressure
Honestly I enjoyed my stint at Syntel.but work pressure is more.. They might tell her to stay back at times.. But this feedback also depends on which division you are headed for.. If it's IT I have heard it's pretty chilled out and relaxed.. So you can go ahead with this..
It is dependent on your job profile, i.e. if you are in Operations or in IT. Most of the IT roles are woman friendly as they either have shifts or are project based. Operations role is very cumbersome. There is a requirement for the team to work late depending on the type of role.
