The founder/director exercises a fair bit of flexibility around concerns about managing family responsibilities/children. She is usually amenable to constructive suggestions on how the employee thinks they can handle manage both worlds
It's an all-woman team so far, with lots of support and great energy
It being a small set-up, the learning curve is steep, but the work is meaningful and energising.

This is not specific to women, but depending on what sector one is coming from, the compensation may seem less competitive.
Relative to bigger organisations, there is no formal support for childcare or other needs (e.g. creche/daycare, etc.), though one can consider enrolling the child at the pre-school/day care centre the director runs.
