Reliance is a fairly good place to work but it has 6 days working, there is a lot of work pressure if in sales, customer facing role.
But it has flexi time and no one questions the in time and out time , just delivery the results.
Safe haven for women, freshers, good food courts, world class infrastructure and lots of scope to learn with unlimited verticals in each business domain technology.
These are my personal experiences when I was associated with Reliance communications ltd.in Mumbai as my first job 10 yrs back.
RIL Vadodara is very women friendly place ,there are many women who work with RIL. There is no baby sitting provided by company . Company has own township which is really safe for employees , women keep maids or caretakers privately for their babies . they can meet their babies in lunch time .if any body got opportunity to work there its really great for her carrier
I have about 3 and half yrs of work experience with Reliance Infocomm. They are nice payers. For female employee they are very excellent employers.
I was on sister concern payroll system. The only concern is that upto my knowledge they are still in six days a week and only Sundays are off.
They are excellent payers. 2) They have women friendly working environment. 3) Good as for Career growth and can also see for long term association with them and multiple benefits which could be in kind as well. 4) Lots of respect and pride...Thats what I have have as I went to that company as raw and came out very confident.
Cos : Only that they follow 6 days a week.
What is feel for anyone to work at any company is to have great working culture for employees and especially for women it has to be respectable. Not as a company but management is diluting the culture, I left Reliance as I didn't feel respectful to be there as a woman I was looking at more understanding yet supportive management which I felt was missing. Though it won't describe the company as a whole other wise it's good. It also depends on which profile you has got, I sit front end it back end. Front end has tough work culture and the treatment is different than to back end. It's based on individual opinion.
I have worked with Reliance Industries Limited (Refinery division- Jamnagar) for three years. My experience with the company was really good as i had a very supporting Boss/HOD and colleagues who were always there to help me out.Though I was not married at that time but few of my friends who got married and continued working there had a very smooth ride.
As far as pros and cons are considered, it would purely depend on the department ,your job profile and Boss/HOD you are working with.Being a private sector company the work load is certainly more.
RIL is a great place for working women.
They do take care of their employees.
I feel proud to be with RIL.
Pros- career growth, maternity leave of 6 months, flexible working hour, weekly 2 offs but I didn't come across any cons.
Time when I was employed with Reliance Capital the leadership was different and the CEO was promoting diversity and inclusion of women in the workforce and i was running an all-women's channel but now since the leadership has changed can't comment on that.
