Depend on the role and team you would be working for. I have been blessed to have great line managers n team and thus has been a very comfortable journey for me.

There is facility of Work From Home.
There is some time no salary hike or less salary hike for contractual employees, but for payroll employee u definitely get a hike. (as per market standard and company performance)
Cons-some time you feel growth is stagnant but that you need to switch to some other project internally.
