Pros: you get to know the legal side of women and children issues but that is only if you are working directly under Flavia Agnes or RAHAT Sexual Violence support team under Persis Sidhva or litigation under Nausheen.
Con: The organisation has become extremely target oriented thereby loosing sight of its original vision and mission. Initially it would be conveyed to you that they are extremely flexible with ideas and work but then this flexibility is used against you especially when you want leave or some other favour. Policies are not at all women friendly, they only look good on paper. Your ideas not really taken on board, only entertained.
If she has been asked to work as a program coordinator for school, colleges and NGOs then I would not recommend that she join, its a very entry level work which after a point becomes tedious with no new learning what so ever. Giving awareness sessions is good though.
