I like to tell you that KPMG is very women friendly place to work with as 90% of employees are women here.
The most important concern here is low salary but may be it is not the problem with all the departments. Rest everything is good that is okay.
I would like to highlight that KPMG has wide variety of services.
It is quite women friendly. The firm does care for their women employee and is always there whenever needed.
- Fun working environment (Unless there are some really very important deadline to be met)
- Understanding and approachable managers
- Working hours
- Quality of work
- Working on weekends and sometimes need to stretch back after working hours
- Sometimes huge targets which can be really stressful
- Biased nature of few managers
My 2.5 years with KPMG was very nice and I learned loads with this experience. I can totally vouch for this firm and if given a chance can certainly have a 2nd innings with them.
Very Women friendly.. KPMG is a great organization and its great for women given the wide array of activities they keep organizing for its women employees.
Pro: The list is countless. You are in a Big4 with great opportunities. KPMG trainings are very helpful. KPMG lays a lot of importance on the well being of its employees. Usually its a 5 day work week.
Cons - Traffic and travel time. This is a major problem specially if you are travelling from Delhi or Noida. Secondly, in busy seasons some teams work really late. Work Life balance gets affected with the traffic and travel time and the busy season work sometimes.
I am a part of KPMG Government Advisory Services wherein we provide consultancy services to Govt. Institutions.
As far as Govt Advisory is concerned, it is a very learning job and i would say no other domain can provide you such exposure but at the same time it is very demanding. It demands time.
Undoubtedly KPMG is a women friendly organization. But one thing to be noted is that this profile will demand time.
KPMG is not a place to work if you want a fair share of work life balance .
One has to forget personal life if you start working in KPMG.
I was working the management consulting space which is very demanding being a consultant at various client locations .
