not overtly women friendly but yes in my 10 years with the bank I have come across people who are willing to understand, acknowledge and help out in whatever way possible. So yes it is a good place for women to work in.
Pros : brand , stability , size of the organisation and has many branches( this is helpful incase she requires any adjustments wrt to her place of work being closer to home again subject to availability of suitable profile)
Cons : since they are amongst the best in business the pressure to perform and outperform industry standards is always there, come to think of it this isnt actually a con as it is after all survival of the fittest in an open market. Some people are not used to taking in all this pressure and buckle under it. This would again depend on the job profile offered to her.']
