Genpact India is a great place to work for women. They have flexibility and work from home option for women. There are lot of women friendly HR policies.
Regarding the pros, I have mentioned above. In addition to those, there are many training programs which would help you to grow professionally. When it comes to drawbacks, its going to be stressful if you take up WFH job with tight deadlines, however again it depends on the process we are working.']
If it is US then you would be expected to attend atlas some calls towards later in the evening. Are you open for that? Finally, which vertical do you come under and who will be your manager
you might get stuck in the role for multiple years unless you do some trainings yourself and keep communicating with your manager on what you plan for next 4-5 months
As genpact is a very women friendly place. I am not giving 5 because there are some processes which follow strict schedule and allows not flexibility. I personally did a lots of work from home and enjoyed flexible timings.
These organisation are great to work with all all are very much women friendly.
Some of pros are good working environment and culture which is transparent and respectful.cons can be odd working hours which one may need to follow since these companies have onshore business outside India.
very women friendly because I myself work in night shift and till Now I have never faced any type of problem in Genpact. It is totally safe for girls. Many of my colleagues are married and still work in night shift here in Genpact. The working environment is also good, ya sometimes there is work load nd pressure but other then that everything is fine with Genpact. It provides various types of in-house training so that we can enhance our skills and also Lean certification.
My experience working there was a good one. If you're a hard working and smart lady, it's a perfect fit for you. You get to handle more responsibilities gradually if you're efficient at your given duties and show a reasonable level of competitiveness. You are treated at par with your male counterparts. It' also a safe place to work at for women. The best feature for the women employees that I liked was the Ombudsman whose identity is kept a secret. There is a box kept in every "process" where women or men employees can anonymously drop their complaints or grievances and it would be resolved by the Ombudsman. They provided pick up and drops when I was working there. I can't say what is the scenario now. All Genpact branches have State of the Art offices. They are very asthetically designed and are kept neat and tidy. One gets many opportunities to advance in one's current role or even assume new roles as per one's aptitude and motivation.
The only negative that I found there was the attitude of a few male employees which is I guess common in most of the MNC's.I hope this mail would help Sakshi in taking an informed decision about the company's job.
