There are a lot of pros to be frank and can't think of any cons as such.
When I first joined Genpact, I was the only women in my team and that definitely gave me an exposure amongst the men. I grew quite well in my field and was highly recognised by the clients and the management. They infact had quite high expectations from me.
However, as uncertain a women's life is with the expectations that her family has from her and the responsibilities that she bears on her shoulders; I demanded for different team movements and shift changes and even 3 location movements(including 2 work from home situations). Genpact as a company was open to all my demands; thats how much they respect a women's needs. Their leave policies are quite women friendly. One thing I like most about Genpact is that there is no room for gender biasness and that they do have successful women leaders in every department.
There is so much learning that you won't find in any other organisation.
There are no cons that I can share with you. I believe that till the time you put your best to the work that is assigned to you and are true to your job; Genpact as an organisation will help you climb your career ladder smoothly and at the same time keep your personal life hassle free.']
If it is US then you would be expected to attend atlas some calls towards later in the evening. Are you open for that? Finally, which vertical do you come under and who will be your manager
you might get stuck in the role for multiple years unless you do some trainings yourself and keep communicating with your manager on what you plan for next 4-5 months
As genpact is a very women friendly place. I am not giving 5 because there are some processes which follow strict schedule and allows not flexibility. I personally did a lots of work from home and enjoyed flexible timings.
These organisation are great to work with all all are very much women friendly.
Some of pros are good working environment and culture which is transparent and respectful.cons can be odd working hours which one may need to follow since these companies have onshore business outside India.
very women friendly because I myself work in night shift and till Now I have never faced any type of problem in Genpact. It is totally safe for girls. Many of my colleagues are married and still work in night shift here in Genpact. The working environment is also good, ya sometimes there is work load nd pressure but other then that everything is fine with Genpact. It provides various types of in-house training so that we can enhance our skills and also Lean certification.
