Since lot of policies and frameworks are still in the making and will take shape only by 2019, nothing very specific to support women workforce yet, but is sure to come up very strongly in the next few years
It entirely depends on the service line that she goes into. With my experience in EY for over 7 years now its a highly recommended workplace for women. Our priorities are respected and equal opportunities are provided.
E&Y is very women friendly, especially mom's. They have various initiates to help working mothers. The senior management is very understanding of your needs & provide support & flexibility depending on your situation. During my tenure, I have had a lot of flexibility in my work depending on the process & business needs of the organisation. The pressure now should be high, as we have lot of processes completely done here in India. EY is one the big four accounting firm thus the expectations from you are high.
EY is women friendly .
Yes u wud ve ample opprn with in EY to explore, CFA prog being provided by them is again a grt support.During season tym u ve to forget about leisure.
On a whole of given another chance I would love to work for EY
My personal experience was not that good and I would say it totally depends upon the manger/team you work with irrespective of the organization you are aligned to. Although EY have n numbers of women oriented policies and flexibilities to avail, but at the same time you need an understanding team/manager to cooperate.
I resigned EY while I was expecting because of the work stress and lack of understanding from my team/manager. I would say as an organisation its a good place for women employees to work with (it becomes much more comfortable and balanced if you have an understanding team/manager as well.
It is a best place for women to work. Infact, there are more number of female employees in EY.
It is a better place to work for women compared to other cos. is what I feel.
There are few processes which is very stressful at times and might get a little difficult to manage Your personal commitments.
I was associated with EY,Kochi, for a short duration only. There is little bit of work pressure from the company, otherwise, it is a good place to work with. The company is woman friendly. However, it will depend upon the team you work with and the type of people in the team.
I resigned my job after my son was born.
