1. Deloitte supports women and believes in flexibility. It offers women all sort of help and support needed. Just that you accomplish your tasks assigned.
2.pros are many, please guide sakshi to join Deloitte. It is going to help and support her deloitte journey.
Deloitte is committed to Gender equality. It is a very women friendly organization.
Pros : Our safety is given utmost importance. They make sure we are given an escort when we travel home late.
Pros : Flexibility is in the culture of Deloitte and the leaders do take it seriously, I have seen a few cases where they have gone the extra mile to provide flexibility to women employees to accommodate their special needs. They provide laptops to their employees making it easy to work from home or other office locations.
Cons : Being a competetive Big 4 Consulting company, it sometimes demands little more from it's employees.
Deloitte is very employee friendly company. It provides a work life balance and career growth simultaneously. Work culture is very open minded and teams are very supportive and fun to be with. Flexibility to work (Work from options) is another feature which helps people stay connected and manage life in a better way. Its been 4 years with Deloitte now and i am still now looking for any change.
Pros: Work life balance, Flexibility, Act as support system, provide adequate opportunities to grow.
Cons: Couldn't think of anything on top of my head.
Deloitte is an amazing place to work for women. They have work from home as well to let women take care of children. Insurance is also quite impressive.
Projects can be taxing but the leadership is always there to help out.
Very women friendly. In general, policies in Deloitte are very flexible and employee friendly. Of course, the actual implementation of the policy and spirit with which it is followed depends on the specific team you're working with. I would still say that a large majority of teams and people at Deloitte are very supportive and the general culture is inclusive.
Sakshi could utilize flexible working options that will help her manage her responsibilities as a parent (I found these options very useful as a new mom). I would encourage her to talk to her seniors and managers in the team, keep them informed about her situation and need for flexibility, and negotiate what works best for her.
Her career growth will not be affected because of her need for flexibility.
Pros: open, inclusive culture. women friendly facilities and flexibility options. Great people, great managers.
Cons: Work pressure could be high in several teams.
The projects are demanding but the work environment is very good. Its a very diversity friendly organisation and values its employees.
High on ethics & integrity they are serious about there employee initiatives. They have everything from a helpline, counselors to on the floor support. I think she should go for it.
I worked in the consulting space which required ad hoc travel, routine late hours, and work over the weekends. It also depends on how supportive her manager is.
Having said that, Deloitte is a great place to work for women, they do have lot of women centric policies. She could check with her interviewers if she can get flexi-work hours or assignments that will allow her to work from home. support function roles have fixed work-hours as far as I know.
a. Deloitte takes a lot of steps for inclusion, which is to say, to have a work environment where all employees are equal irrespective of their gender or race.
b. Prompt action taken against any kind of harrassment
c. Home drop after 11PM.
d. Work from home option (depends on your team, the kind of work and your manager)
a. No transport before 11pm. You have arrange your own transport (you could carpool with people who come from the same area).
b. You might have work pressure depending on which function you work in. (for eg, tax function is more hectic)
