This is Monisha.I have worked as an application support engineer for 6 months.then my marriage got fixed i was in the situation to quit my job.Now i am feeling ashamed of myself to simply being at home..I have to do something for my career.previously i was working in shift basis.once get into the family, shift based job is not suitable, I think.I need your guidance that what should i learn to get a job.what technology should i concentrate which has more scope.

There is nothing to be ashamed of. You took the decision as that that time, you believed it was the right thing to do. If you are looking to restart now, I hope you have the situation at home in control as without that, you will not be able to succeed in the new job too.
In terms of what kinds of jobs you should look out for, I would recommend you look for something that is apt for your skills and strengths. You could learn a new skill/technology area just because it seems to be the "in thing" or more jobs seem to be in the market for that, but it will not work out for you if you do not have an interest in it. So, please think through all your priorities and based on that, decide what kind of a job would be ideal for you.
Once you have that list, start going thru' the jobs on the sheroes portal and other portals and you can decide which one would be ideal for you. View Less
