Hi Neeraja..My name is Mamatha C and I have 9.6 years of experience in Functional Manual Testing. The last organisation I worked was IBM, India.About two years ago I quit my job to take care of my new born. Now I am planning to join back work. I did connect with my last company however the answer from recruitment team is they are not looking for people on Manual Testing. Due to 2 years of gap I am unable to get job anywhere else too. Please advice me if I should go for Automation tool testing course like Selenium, will it help me to find a job or should i keep trying with my existing skill set.My mail id is c.mamatha@gmail.com. Much Thanks

Mamatha, No one can guarantee that by doing this course, you can get a job. It's all about the demand in the market and the supply that is available. The only way to get options for you are 1. Reflect on what is that strength or skill that you bring to the table which is different to the others who have similar skills and build your CV around that 2. Keep searching through portals like sheroes who target companies who are open to bringing back women on a career break 3. Look at alternative jobs that you could do which are more in demand and you can easily upskill to it(as long as you have an interest in the same)
