Hi Manuj, being a creative professional yourself I am sure you know that there is a science, approach and technicality behind every stream of the creative industry. To do well, you should know the 'asks' for the stream you are working on.
Motion graphics and UX Design are two completely different fields. Motion graphics is part of an existing story. And when we start talking about UI/UX, we start talking about self-paced content, user expereince, navigation, portability, compatibilty and much much more. Also, with the digital boom, understanding what works, in what form, on which device is a very critical thing. I would suggest, that as a motion graphics designer you already have your visual asthetics / drawing skills. But do explore possibility of studying UI/UX designing - do some online courses if you can - before you migrate, so that you do SUPER work in your new role as well. All the best! View Less
