Hi mam, I am an Engineering graduate passed out in 2013 with an offer letter from CTS through campus recruitment. Immediately after college I started preparing for Civil Services Examination, but couldnt clear. Now due to financial constraints, I have to seek a job preferably a work-from-home kind of job. But I am not getting any idea of where to look. I have thoughts of exploring content writing jobs as I believe I can do that. Can you help and guide me deciding what to do next, where to look for ?

Hi Revathi. You can definitely look at Content writing ,more specifically, curriculum writing ,given your engineering background. There are a lot of options on the SHEROES Job board which keep getting updated However ,I would suggest you keep higher aspirations. You are talented and bright and with your background ,there are a lot more options you can consider. Even with a flexible job ,do consider upskilling through online courses .We have some listed at he SHEROES website under Career Resources but a lot are available free online.Keep updated about latest technologies and inventions in this domain through IEEE articles and Journals.Choose an area of interest which is close to your heart. You can also opt for the IT field.Either way ,you have the option of building a great profile career wise with your skills.Just some unsolicited advice - do look through your SHEROES profile - you are not ''unemployed '' but ''looking for work''.The words and phrases we use can send a strong positive/negative message to prospective employers .Self - belief can take you that extra mile.Let me know if you need more help .Best,Monica.
