Hi Mehnaz,\nI have been working as a freelance Business Development Specialist for the last two years and also completed a certification from a Reputed International University. I am looking out for a full time job while yet taking up Freelance Projects. My question here is that in spite of mentioning to every single HR that I am now paid on an hourly basis, why do they are still consider my previous drawn salary that was about two years ago. My current remuneration per hour is much higher compared to the last CTC. Why do HR's still stick with the CTC with the previous company as my current salary. Do the HR's today understand that a candidate can take up freelance and be paid more that previous salary. Do HRs know how to consider the freelance professionals remuneration and devise something based on that? How do I handle such a situation? what should I present here and how? How do we negotiate our salary for taking up a job further?\n\n
