Hello Gitanjali, I'm a 26 years old young single individual. Currently on a break to travel. I recently had been on a solo trip to North eastern states of India such as Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. I rode through Meghalaya on a rented activa. I spent all of my savings into this solo trip. I'd like to know I can blog with some online travel companies and earn money as I have the content and photographs. I may also need help in writing pro articles as I'm quite an informal kind of writer. This will be my first attempt at writing/blogging. Can you guide me how to go forward in this aspect? I'd really appreciate your wise words :)

Hi Kavita,\n\nFirst - I'd like to apologise for responding to your query so late and I hope that my advice helps you.\n\nCongratulations on completing your solo travel - truly commendable and I am really happy you discovered a hidden part of India that few have the courage to visit. And renting an Activa in Meghalaya - truly awesome. I hope you didn't skid too much on those hilly roads!\n\nMy advice to you before you start a travel or photo blog would be to do some online research and understand what kind of material is already there. You don't want to post or write the same thing as you won't have an audience. Look at the comments section to see what people like to read. On writing - it is very useful if you haven't written before - to do a course on writing. There are several of these online that are pretty good, they provide you with useful feedback and you truly learn. If you don't want to invest in that, do look up blogs by well known travel writers and take inspiration there. In my opinion, the best blogs are not too lengthy. They make just one point, and not five. You should be able to finish reading them in five minutes and ideally, by two scrolls on your smartphone. People's attention span these days isn't that long! \n\nThose are enough tips for now. Go chase that rainbow!
