Hi. I have been trying to get back to full time job. I know I will be an asset to any organisation I join. I have a very good professional background and a winners attitude. But finding it very difficult to get the kind of senior position I am looking for.All get stuck at why I took a break. Please advice. Thanks

Shalini, I wish you all the best for getting a suitable job. I know it can be challenging to get the desired position after a break. I don't know how long was your career break and what sector or position are you trying to get back into. I assume you are transparent about your reasons for taking a break when you meet potential employers because senior positions require that ability to be direct and straight forward. Or sometimes, one has to revisit the position or type of role or organisation if there are no immediate openings or if the career gap has been long. Mostly, the more senior is the role, the fewer are the openings. best wishes
