I am a MBA grad with 12 years of work experience in Sales and Marketing function specifically in the B2B segment. Right now i feel saturated in the work profile and looking for a change to keep myself exciting about the work i do. I am exploring opportunities for taking up roles in HR function as it is very relative to BD function and i also have my strengths is area of Process and People. Finding it as a challenge as recruiters blindly look for similar experience for any HR positions. I am open to try from a Recruiter role as it is very similar to a sales role, however not able to get through.
Appreciate if you could help understand if my approach is correct and what should i do to move on.

Dear Bhuvanya, recruitment is all about perception and presentation. Have a look at some websites on how can you present your profile in a marketable way. Share your work experience highlighting your strengths and value proposition. Try to keep it to one page or so, clear and crisp,
I use Google extensively for tips and contacts. Send in your profile or call some organisations - essentially how effectively are you using your Sales experience to get a job.
