Hello Ramma, Thanks for writing in. There are a lot of online work options today since the digital space has numerous opportunities. Before you apply on the online portals, I suggest you to narrow your skills that might help you choose a specific line. Based on your skill sets update your experience on various online portals as per your preferred location. But if you get an ideal job don’t stick to location specific jobs. This could perhaps help you get the ideal job in the same field. All the best. Regards, Ameera

Dear Sripriya, 7 years is a huge experience to fall back on, Sripriya. I'm sure you have gathered immense skills during this span. Why don't you make a list of the skills that you have and shortlist the jobs that you might want to do? There are a lot of opportunities in the digital sector where you could put to use your understanding of MS Word and other such software. Keep looking at online portals as well as social media pages for freelancing work. There are a plethora of opportunities out there. Be confident and know that you are a great asset with all the experience that you already have. All the best. Regards, Ameera

I want to work from home.Is there any IT course that I should do which will help me do my job & besides help me earn more?
28 Jun 2016, 04:25pm
Dear Bhawna, Thanks for writing in. Your existing experience in the healthcare sector should only boost your confidence while returning to the industry. I don't see why you should stop yourself from taking up freelancing opportunities or work part-time with clinics. You could also start your own practice with other women and work at your own convenience by sharing the clinic space. It is only you who can decide if you are lacking in any skills. Online courses or distance learning could be your solution for leveling up your knowledge base. Take some time and figure out exactly what you want to do in the longer span. All the best. Hi Simmi, I am so glad to meet an entrepreneur here. If you have been able to run your own enterprise for about two decades, a new location should not deter you at all. I am sure the 17 year experience would have given you unique skills which can be applied in a job or a new enterprise. I can advice further if you could share details, as there are none about your enterprise mentioned. The biggest asset an entrepreneur has is his/her confidence. Do not ever let that down. Try again until you succeed. Regards, Ameera
