I started working back in 2008. 

As a child (...and even in college), I had just one aspiration - to fly for the Indian Airforce. I graduated in Physics from Delhi University with just this goal in mind. When I failed my medicals and pilot aptitude tests, I took solace in Astronomy. During my post grad in Physics, astronomy became my 'love at first sight', my first experiments with truth after my setback with the Airforce.

I indulged with amateur astronomy long enough during my post grad and when I finally decided to pursue a doctorate in the same field, my father insisted for me to get a 1 year work experience outside and then take my call.

I agreed. And that was the best decision of my life.

I joined a multinational company and thanks to my background in Physics - marketing came easy to me. Answers to difficult market research and analytics issues were simple to come by. Ability to apply logic paved way to confidence and confidence to success.

After an initial sting, I joined MediaAgility in 2010. At that time, it was a smalli-sh project with 4 members pulled from other projects in the company. It was launched as an experiment to work on new paradigm technologies. I joined as a marketing associate, tested my hand at Sales, Account Management, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Technology consultant. I learned every trick of the trade. My mentor had faith in me and threw challenge after challenge without a break. I was unsuccessful in several initiatives and successful in a few. In the next couple of years, the project grew into an independent start up and I grew from a fresher to a professional.

Currently, I lead the Global Marketing at MediaAgility. The company - headquartered in Princeton, NJ, now stands at an employee strength of 170 and is a global Google for Work partner with branches in London, Singapore, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai.

In mere 6 years of starting work in the marketing domain, I find this industry challenging and my work exhilarating! I am amazed at the opportunities given to women in today's business landscape and the commitment with which we work. I have traveled to several countries for work and meet women entrepreneurs and mobilizers across the globe. Needless to say, the intelligence and diligence with which we work is a sure shot asset to any company.

I am passionate about being a mobilizer in the industry, a role model for other women in our company and a recognized subject matter expert.

Oh and did I mention that post-marriage, I am associated with the Airforce and I work completely from home!
