There is only one piece left! How lucky of you to find it!

There are two other ladies gazing at the dress you choose and waiting to snatch it the moment you leave it from your hands.

You know you have grabbed the best deal!

You know it is the best and thus you rush to the changing room with that dress and can't wait to try it.

But alas, it does not fit you well.

You squeeze yourself inside the dress nevertheless, you pout in the mirror to make your cheeks look slimmer, you open your hair to hide the arm fat but then you wonder how will I hide the extra fat on my legs. As you are looking at yourself in the mirror, you realize the worse part is belly fat. No matter how hard you inhale and hold your breath, it still manages to peep out.

You have tried your best to make yourself look slim for the dress, but all in vain it goes.

It is rightly said that “men love curves and the only dog loves bones”, but apart from simply the pleasing part, having extra fat in your body leads to many other health complications. If the extra fat is not checked at the right time, it may grow to become a chronic one or even obesity. This in turn not only makes you live a less healthy life but also adds up to a lot of problems sooner or later. Moreover, the type of fat present on your belly is called visceral fat. Which when present in the body leads to a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other conditions

So how do we reduce the bad fats in our body, especially the ones which are present in the belly?

#2. Don’t underestimate the power of the H2O

When you drink water, what happens to your body?

It may seem obvious that everything is related to our digestion, which in turn refers to the food we eat. If digestion is not well, metabolism is weak, then fats depositing around the tummy area is evident. Hence make sure you are not skipping on the recommended amount of water intake.

#3. Big No to the Sweet teeth

Sweets, as sweet as they sound are not very sweet to your body.

If you think you will curb your sugar intake, that won't be of help really. Because you don't realize, unknowingly you consume sweets through many other sources like soda, artificial sweeteners, cold drinks, brownies even fruit juices, etc.

Sugar is only for your taste buds and adds no value to your body. But it does give you one thing galore, which is calories.

Yes, I too found it bizarre but it’s a fact. According to recent studies, sleep deprivation has a direct relation with fat accumulation.

To understand this further, let us think of a laborer at any construction site and a rich businessman. The laborer who slogs all day earns a single piece of bread for the day, and eats and sleeps soundly, without worrying much about tomorrow. On the other hand, the rich businessman keeps worrying about his money, his business, his expansion plans, and so many other things, hence sleeping but not in a peaceful manner.

Less sleep leads to more stress which leads to fats. Want to know how, read the below point.

#5. Say bye-bye to stress with your favorite dance moves

Ever heard about a hormone called “cortisol”?

This is one of the culprits for that belly fat around your waistline.

And you might be amazed to know that all you need to do, is to avoid this hormone to be secreted in the body in excess. It is not to worry!

Dieting does help you to come back in shape, but in the name of dieting, people usually end up starving themselves.

But is starving a good option?

Hell no! What starvation does to your body is, when you starve by not eating proper food, your body will automatically start to react by slowing its metabolism, as a way of protecting itself. This way, your metabolism is affected and it may not be useful in the long run.

Hence in order to lose weight, you have to eat healthily and not starve.

#8. Alcohol may give you a high, but also gives you fats

How often you drink or how little you drink, does not matter at all. Doctors have always emphasized the fact that alcohol is not good for your health. And when it comes to belly fat, alcohol does contribute a lot to it.

We should consciously understand what are eating and what it does to our bodies. And that is why, when you are cooking, you should be aware of the cooking oil that you use. Try to switch between different cooking oil but remember coconut oil, when taken in an appropriate measure can do a great benefit to your body.

Coconut oil is high in Medium Chain Triglycerides. These are fatty acids that are metabolized differently than most other fats. Hence it leads to beneficial effects on metabolism. In addition to these, it also helps in weight loss, reduced waist circumference and various improvements in metabolic health.

I have heard people saying, “today is my cheat day!” and then they start munching on all kinds of junk food. It has been repeatedly said that junk foods do damage to your body and overall health.

What is even worse is that trans fats are the culprit since they raise the bad cholesterol, depleting the good (HDL) kind and refined carbs like white rice, pasta, and flour have their healthy bits removed, leaving them less beneficial.

I would personally affirm this magical potion. I would put it straight that if you are consuming it for 2 weeks or 3, you are in no way going to see the difference. You have to stick to this regime for at least 3-4 months.

Early morning, before you even brush your teeth, take a glass full of water, boil it till it's lukewarm, squeeze half a lemon into it and add one teaspoon of honey. Drink this and get refreshed!

You can consume the ACV with olive oil as a salad dressing or you can simply mix 1-2 tbsp of ACV with a glass full of water and have it on empty stomach.

However, be careful while having the ACV and always remember to have it in diluted form with water only. Also, it's best to have it first thing in the morning.

With so many advertisements on television about green tea, people have become obsessed with it. But do you know how to consume it so that you derive the best from it?
