What pops in your mind when I say SUGAR? Something savoury, sweet and yummy :-) I belong to the generation which associates sweetness with comfort foods. Oh wait, we all do!


 



 





 

Look at these beauties, why wouldn’t anyone one of us indulge our taste buds. 


I would love biting into those sweet savoury delights, all day long. Although I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I have seen people going completely numb at the site of sweets. 


Sugar Rush gives us an adrenaline kick which leaves us with high energy. I have experienced it! But, ever wondered the reason behind it. The bodily functions which provides us with this rush. 


In a  nutshell, when we digest sugar, enzymes in the small intestine break it down into glucose. This glucose is then released into the bloodstream, where it is transported to tissue cells in our muscles and organs and converted into energy.
