Meet The SHEROES--Sandhya Mathur, Founder, Inward Focus

As an empowerment coach, Sandhya works with clients from different nationalities in all walks of life. This includes working professionals, stay-at-home moms looking to start or restart their careers, and professionals in transition.

My deep faith and belief--right from my childhood and college days--in the untapped potential of each individual led to the formation of Inward Focus in 2013.

I began my career as a trainer more than two decades ago, training senior executives and bankers in software when the subject was in its infancy in India. I take joy in my job because it helps empower people live up to their potential. Supporting people with career and life enhancement skills, over the years, became my calling.

I am an ACC credentialed (ICF) Empowerment Coach and a Master Spirit Coach. I am also certified for High Impact Presentations by Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. and have over 500 hours of training experience.

When I founded Inward Focus, one of the goals was to work with educated and qualified women who had taken a break from work. It was a challenge to work with their existing mindset, low self-esteem and confidence as a result of not living their dreams. It was extremely satisfying to watch my clients develop new skills, confidence, improve relationships and get back to work.

We have coached and consulted for a wide range of professionals--from educators to founders of companies. At Inward Focus, we support and enable people to empower themselves in all spheres of their lives through emotional Intelligence. We also incorporate the essence of Eastern Philosophy with structured coaching techniques for effective transformation and achievement.

We work with C level executives to create executive presence, which is all about gravitas, appearance and communication. Our experience in this area tells us that there is a gap between merit and success, and we therefore support clients to act, think, look and talk in a manner that develops that presence.

Our mission at Inward Focus is to make a difference in an individual’s life, which will act as a catalyst to bring a change in the work and home environment.
